Karen D’Attanasio - Marketing Communications Professional

A resident of Needham, Massachusetts, Karen D’Attanasio is a marketing communications professional with more than two decades of experience in multiple industries. Before working in the marketing sector, Karen D’Attanasio started her career with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (2001) and Northeast Investment Management (2003) in Boston.

With Brown Brothers Harriman, Ms. D’Attanasio was a supervisor in the International Corporate Actions group, overseeing the management of all voluntary corporate action events between custodians and counterparties. With Northeast Investment Management, she was a client relationship manager, working with a team that helped clients manage their investment strategies.

For the next two years, beginning in 2005, Ms. D’Attanasio wrote for the Food Network (2005), where she contributed articles covering cooking and entertaining, as well as a weekly newsletter. She also wrote for HNW, Inc (2006), contributing articles about topics related to financial services.

In 2007, Ms. D’Attanasio joined Morgan Stanley and began her career in marketing communications. In her role as Vice President of Marketing Communications, she was responsible for implementing the Global Wealth Management’s brand strategy across advertising, client communications, and digital formats, and was involved in acquisition brand integration as a part of the merger with Smith Barney.

In 2011, as a Senior Consultant at Oculus Partners, Ms. D’Attanasio began a consulting engagement at PNC Bank in Pittsburgh. In this role, she developed strategic marketing programs to raise brand awareness for PNC Investments.

Outside of work, Ms. D’Attanasio enjoys traveling with her young family and volunteering at her childrens’ school.
